Five Thoughts
1. The fact that “ladies’ night” and “girls’ night” mean two totally different things might be expected to confuse foreign exchange students. (Free teen comedy subplots right here! Come and get ‘em!)
2. Commentary about what the Rally To Restore Sanity “meant” or what Stewart and Colbert were trying to “do” tends to disregard the fact that the Rally wasn’t Stewart’s or Colbert’s idea in the first place. (I hope you both had a pleasant ride to Washington in your LATECOMER BANDWAGON, jerks!)
3. On Gossip Girl tonight, Robyn seemed really confused! Dark horse Rachel Zoe won Best Celebrity Guest for taking a fondue bowl to the head with grace. (Runner-up: Ed Westwick’s new hair. Ow ow!)

5. Every time I try to write about politics, it turns into a crazy meta-narrative about my relationship with my father. Freudian! Also, inconvenient: I don’t have the time to write down my whole family history just so that I can tell you why I’m going to vote for Alexi Giannoulias. (Hint: it’s definitely not his hair.)
