“Strangers Out Of Blue” - St. Thomas
Last night, I saw Jeff Mangum in Milwaukee and it was just incredible. It turned into a big, happy sing along, and everyone was so excited.
The unexpected awesomeness was when Scott Spillane covered THIS song. It’s probably the prettiest thing ever.
I also loved that they played “It Was a Very Good Year.” I’d forgotten that Sinatra ever sang a tune that haunting and wistful. And how perfect to kick off a comeback/reunion concert of sorts with a song about the passage of time.
